product care

To make sure your Siisti products stand the test of time, follow our recommended care instructions to keep them looking good.

You can use dry or wet erase chalk markers on our planners. We recommend wet erase markers as they appear brighter and once dry do not smudge.

You can purchase our wet erase markers here.

You can use traditional whiteboard markers however, please take caution as some brands will ghost or stain your planner. Permanent markers cannot be removed and should not be used on the planner.

New markers must be primed before their first use.

To prime, just shake and pump.

Shake - Hold the marker diagonally, with the cap on, and start shaking.

Pump - On a flat surface, press the tip in and release. Repeat until the liquid chalk has covered the tip.

Allow a minute for your writing to dry.

For best results, remember to shake before each use and pump from time to time to refill the tip ink.

To remove wet erase chalk markers from Siisti planners, use a damp microfiber cloth to wipe down the planner. If chalk residue is still visible, wipe over with a dry microfiber cloth.

To remove dry erase chalk markers and fingerprints wipe over with a dry microfiber cloth.

Our clear acrylic planners that are reverse printed (printed on the back) can be cleaned with some general household window cleaners and water, but we recommend a small test patch first.

Do not use harsh chemicals and cleaners on acrylic and magnetic planners.

Our larger wall planners may bend slightly in the middle when writing on the board. Please take care not to apply too much pressure when you are writing on your planner boards.

As our clear acrylic planners are completely transparent, you will some some shadow lines on your wall behind the planner. The intensity of shadow lines will change throughout the day and depend on the lighting conditions in your home or office. Shadow lines tend to appear lighter in natural light and much darker under artificial light, particularly at night time. To avoid harsh shadow lines, make sure lamps and other lighting aren't shining directly onto clear planners.
